In Dom Pedrito, in the administrative region of Bagé, the apiaries located near soybean crops and cornichão areas registered a high accumulation of honey. In native field and native forest areas, the entry of nectar and pollen occurred with less intensity, due to the reduced number of species in bloom. In the regions of Caxias do Sul, Frederico Westphalen, Passo Fundo, Pelotas, and Ijuí, a higher entry of nectar in the hives was recorded, associated with the foraging of bees favored by the predominantly dry weather during the period. According to the report, the hives presented a high number of individuals, which allowed for the division of swarms, while the honey harvest advanced with volumes considered adequate for the season.
