Hongseong Agricultural Center, operating the 'Agricultural By-products Shredding Support Team'

[Song Hae-chang, Korea Farmers' News Reporter] The Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center will operate a farming byproduct shredding support team starting from November 3. It will provide free support for the disposal of farming byproducts such as pepper stalks, perilla stalks, and fruit tree branches that occur after harvest. Any county resident can apply through the Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center. An official from the Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center said, "We expect effects such as reducing the burden of farming byproduct disposal, recycling resources, preventing forest fires, and reducing fine dust generation," and "We hope for many applications from farmers."
