Poland: How did rapeseed yield increase from 1 ha?

Rapeseed production in the world is concentrated mainly in the European Union, Canada, China and India. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that in the 2022/2023 season, the rape cultivation area in the world may amount to 41 million hectares and be 7.5% larger than in the previous season. The largest sowing area of rapeseed is estimated in India (9 million ha) and Canada (8.6 million ha). The third position in this respect is occupied by China (7.1 million ha), and the fourth by the European Union (5.9 million ha). Australia ranks fifth in the world in terms of sown area (3.9 million hectares). According to world experts, the increase in production will be primarily driven by higher harvests of rapeseed by key producers of these seeds, i.e. in the European Union (increase by 15%, to 19.6 million tonnes) and Canada (by 38%3 , to 19 million tonnes ).
