Mechanisms for expanding access to credit resources for agrarians are being developed in Kazakhstan — instructions given at a meeting of the Government of the RK.

At today's Government meeting, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov instructed to take additional measures to support the agro-industrial complex, aimed at reducing the financial burden on agricultural producers. In particular, the head of the Government noted the need to resolve the issue of financing the costs of transporting grain. "To reduce the financial burden on farmers, the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture need to resolve the issue of additional financing of expenses related to the transportation of grain," Olzhas Bektenov pointed out at the Cabinet meeting. He also instructed to work out mechanisms to expand farmers' access to credit resources, including loan guarantee instruments in animal husbandry and crop production. "To implement the loan guarantee instrument in the field of animal husbandry and crop production, I instruct the Ministries of Agriculture, Finance, National Economy, and Baiterek Holding to find the necessary funds," the Prime Minister noted.
