The latest MARS forecast for Poland indicates a mixed outlook for crop yields this year. Average wheat yield is expected to be 5.27 t/ha, which is lower than last year but above the five-year average. Spring barley yield remains steady at 3.79 t/ha, while winter barley is projected to decline significantly to 4.85 t/ha. Rye yield is slightly down at 3.49 t/ha, and triticale and rapeseed yields are also expected to decrease. Corn yield is forecasted at 7.11 t/ha, down from last year. These changes are attributed to a rainfall deficit during the grain filling period and heat at the end of June, with final results pending until the end of the harvest.
