The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) has initiated a new project in the Chinchao district of Huánuco, aiming to incorporate 250 producing families into granadilla cultivation. The project, which has an investment of S/298,804 for this year, includes memorandums of understanding with seven communities, specialized technical assistance, and delivery of fertilizers for 125 hectares. Activities such as field schools and technical meetings will be held to improve the productivity of the families and provide a better quality of life. The project is part of Devida's strategy to promote alternative development and move away from illicit activities.
