The General Comptroller's Office warned of deficiencies in the Green Tea Project of the Regional Agriculture Directorate of Huánuco that has put 40,000 seedlings at risk due to lack of irrigation and identified that the machines acquired for processing and commercial management of said product are being used in other plantations, failing to comply with the purpose of the public investment made. In the Control Visit Report No. 4156-2025-CG/AGR-SVC evaluated between April 16 and May 9, 2025, it is detailed that in the nursery there are 40,000 green tea seedlings at risk of definitive loss due to lack of maintenance and absence of sprinkler irrigation due to water pumping problems. Additionally, it was observed that the seedlings pending distribution to 180 beneficiaries were covered with weeds.
