(Agraria.pe) In Huánuco, the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) promoted the commercial articulation of 25 tons of organic cocoa beans produced by the Agrarian Cooperative Aprocaf Valle del Monzón. The cocoa will be exported to the Italian company ICAM Spa, generating an economic movement of S/ 750,000 in favor of the member families of this organization dedicated to the production of cocoa and coffee, who have opted for legal crops as an alternative to the illicit coca leaf. Devida supports Aprocaf with the strengthening of capacities in five strategic pillars: organizational, productive, commercial, management, and administration, as well as financial and accounting. This comprehensive approach allows for the consolidation of the sustainability of the organizations, improving their competitiveness and expanding their opportunities in national and international markets.
