The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), through its Tingo María Zonal Office, provided specialized technical assistance to three agrarian cooperatives in the Upper Huallaga, which made it possible to channel more than S/1 million in non-refundable resources from the competitive fund Procompite Huánuco 2025. This intervention strengthened legal and sustainable economic alternatives that distance more families from the influence of drug trafficking. The beneficiary organizations are the Agrarian Cooperative Guardians of the Forest, from the province of Leoncio Prado; the Agrarian Cooperative Montevideo, from the province of Pachitea; and the Agrarian Cooperative Palmas del Paraíso, from the province of Marañón.
