Hwacheon County's foreign seasonal workers program invites parents, siblings, sisters, and spouses of siblings of marriage migrant women who have settled in the region.
Relatives within the fourth degree of consanguinity of marriage migrants are excluded from the new recommendation list.
Hwacheon County expects to recruit around 470 foreign seasonal workers, but this number may vary depending on the allocation results from the Ministry of Justice.
In particular, Hwacheon County has allowed up to 10 individuals per household to be invited for this foreign seasonal worker program.
Wages will be paid at least the minimum wage of 13,200 won per hour next year, with a basic workday of 8 hours.
The allocation of farms for employment is prioritized for farms that employed seasonal workers last year if they wish to renew the contract.
Workers who have faithfully served in last year's program can be prioritized for farm allocation if they reapply.
Hwacheon County has evaluated that there has been no dropout in the foreign seasonal worker program for families of marriage migrant women, and the agricultural work proficiency is excellent, leading to high satisfaction among farms.
County Mayor Choi Moon-soon said on the 16th, "We will prepare the allocation of foreign seasonal workers to ensure that local farmers' agricultural activities are not disrupted."
