The Murcian Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Research and Development (Imida) has signed an agreement with the company Culmarex to promote research and development projects in aquaculture that will allow progress in the cultivation of species of aquaculture interest. The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing, Sara Rubira, during her visit to the company's facilities in Águilas, highlighted that "the conditions of our coasts and the experience and knowledge developed make the potential of aquaculture in the Region highly relevant and complementary to traditional fishing systems".
