Brazil: Impact of the production of 3.33 million tons of beans on the market

CONAB's recent update on harvest forecasts pointed to a total production of 3.33 million tons of beans. It is important to highlight that, compared to the previous year, the quantity of Carioca beans shows a slight reduction of 57 thousand tons. On the other hand, there is a significant increase of 220 thousand tons of black beans and 128 thousand tons of cowpeas. There are still indications that the quantity of pinto beans may be revised upwards, although this should not drastically change the supply pattern in the coming months.
