A new chicken breeding reproducer has been launched in the Kizilsky district of the Chelyabinsk region, with an annual capacity of 2.5 million breeding chickens. The project, which started in 2023 and will be completed in 2026, involves the construction of four poultry houses with a total capacity of 32.5 thousand bird seats. The eggs produced will be purchased by local and national poultry factories, supporting Russia's goal of providing at least 25% of poultry factories with domestic breeding material by 2030. The South Ural State Agrarian University will play a role in training personnel and conducting scientific research to increase the efficiency of Russian chicken crosses.
