In January-February 2026, 522 thousand tons of raw cow's milk were received for processing. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service. In particular, processing enterprises purchased 480.3 thousand tons of milk: 460.8 thousand tons from agricultural enterprises and 19.6 thousand tons from households. Also, over two months, 41.6 thousand tons of self-produced milk and milk from contractors were received for processing. The State Statistics Service notes that the data is provided without taking into account the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and parts of the territories where hostilities are (were) ongoing. As reported, the domestic dairy industry has very large prospects.
