Kazakhstan is set to export 160 thousand tons of onions to Azerbaijan and Georgia this year, a decrease from last year's 180 thousand tons, according to Business Media. The country's Agriculture Minister, Aidarbek Saparov, cited a global drop in onion prices and exports as a contributing factor, alongside ongoing efforts to tackle logistics challenges. In response to fluctuating market conditions, the government is implementing region-specific agricultural production targets, as directed by the Prime Minister, to ensure market stability and promote efficient production.
