In 2024, Ukraine saw substantial harvests of buckwheat and millet, with total yields of 127.2 thousand tons and 161,000 tons respectively. The Dnipropetrovsk region led in buckwheat yield with 3.6 tons per hectare, while Vinnychyna region achieved the highest millet yield of 3 tons per hectare. The country also successfully harvested 71.4 million tons of its new grain and oil crop crop, covering 19.2 million hectares, which included 52.1 million tons of cereals and nearly 19.3 million tons of oilseeds.
