In 2025, the production of compound feed in Russia reached 36.8 million tons, which is 1.2% more than in 2024. This is reported by the agency Zerno On-Line with reference to Rosstat. Compared to last year, the volume of compound feed production for poultry (+1.9%) and for cattle (+0.5%) increased. Enterprises in the Central Federal District produced 16.4 million tons of compound feed, the Southern Federal District 7.7 million tons, the Northwestern Federal District 3.3 million tons, the Siberian Federal District 2.9 million tons, the Southern Federal District 2.6 million tons, the Ural Federal District 2.3 million tons, the Far Eastern Federal District 1.1 million tons, and the North Caucasian Federal District 0.5 million tons.
