The cost of raw milk production in Russia for April increased by 13.1% compared to the same period last year, according to the National Union of Milk Producers. This increase is due to higher prices for feed and energy resources, increased wages, increased costs associated with imports, and higher rates on preferential short-term loans. However, compared to March, the cost of milk production decreased by 1.3% due to a slight drop in the cost of some types of feed and mineral fertilizers.
