In Burhaniye district of Balıkesir, one of Turkey's significant olive production centers, olive pits that emerge during the processing of olives at the Tariş Olive Oil Factory continue to be exported as fuel to Greece. Noting that the olive pits are environmentally friendly fuel, Burhaniye Tariş Manager Emrah Öztürk said that 60 tons of pits have been dispatched.
