In the first quarter, Ingushetia's farms experienced notable growth in agricultural production, with a 3.3% increase in egg production totaling 6.4 million eggs, a 1.5% rise in livestock and poultry slaughter reaching 3.6 thousand tons, and a 3.6% increase in milk production amounting to 35.2 thousand tons. This growth is driven by an increase in livestock and poultry numbers and enhanced productivity due to the acquisition of highly productive animals. As of early April, the region's cattle population was 71.6 thousand heads, including 40.2 thousand cows, with 308.6 thousand sheep and goats, and 481.3 thousand poultry, supported by the expansion of agricultural organizations.
