In the Salihli district of Manisa, students from the nursery class of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Primary School had the opportunity to learn about the journey of the olive from tree to table through the "Olive 5.0 Project." The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Primary School in Salihli district of Manisa set an exemplary work in early childhood education with the "Olive 5.0 Project" carried out with nursery students. Within the scope of the project, the little students had the opportunity to learn by experiencing the journey of the olive from tree to table. The olives picked by the students with their own hands from approximately 35 olive trees in the school garden were taken to the olive oil factory. The children experienced the process of their picked olives turning into olive oil on site, thus embedding the olive not only as a food but also as a cultural heritage in the students' memories.
