The Central Statistical Office has reported significant price increases in various food and alcohol items over the past year. Sunflower cooking oil saw the highest increase at 28%, followed by husked paddy rice and white bread at 19% and 17% respectively. Vegetables and fruits such as apples and cucumbers also became more expensive. Among meat products, grilled bony beef saw a 12% increase, while pork prices fell by 11%. Alcoholic beverages like fruit-flavored spirits, table red wine, and table white wine also became more expensive. However, prices for items like butter and sour cream decreased by 2% and 1.1% respectively.
