Jeonnam Province announced that it will accept applications for crop disaster insurance and agricultural income stabilization insurance for four items: buckwheat, autumn cabbage, autumn napa cabbage, and autumn radish until September, in preparation for natural disasters such as typhoons and heavy rains, as well as market price declines. Crop disaster insurance is a system that supports the operational stability of farms by covering damage to crops caused by natural disasters. Ninety percent of the insurance premiums are supported by national and local funds. Agricultural income stabilization insurance is a system that compensates for losses if a farm's income decreases below a certain level due to natural disasters or market price declines. Eighty-five percent of the insurance premium burden is supported.
