In Russia, more than 6.3 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to support the program of preferential lending to agricultural producers. The order was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
Funds from the government's reserve fund will allow maintaining the preferential interest rate on previously issued investment and short-term loans for the production and processing of agricultural products. This, in turn, will enable farmers to increase the production volumes of agricultural raw materials and food.
Since the beginning of 2025, the total amount of subsidies for the preferential lending program for agricultural producers has reached 36.7 billion rubles.
"We expect that these measures will increase the resilience of our agribusiness and allow us to continue supplying consumers with quality Russian products," Mishustin noted, commenting on the decision taken at the government meeting on November 6.
