In Russia, plans are underway to transfer four Belarusian enterprises engaged in the production and export of various livestock products to the Russian market to enhanced laboratory control. This is reported in a letter from Rosselkhoznadzor to the Department of Veterinary Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic, posted on the agency's website. According to the letter, the reason for this was the initial detection of violations in their products. The most harmless of these was found in the sour cream of the Shklov Dairy Plant (Shklov, Mogilev region), where Rosselkhoznadzor specialists found yeast. In the products of three other enterprises, traces of dangerous substances and preparations were detected. In particular, the antibiotic enrofloxacin was found in the chicken eggs of the Shchuchin Poultry Farm (Grodno region). Also, the veterinary drug moxidectin was detected in the beef of the "Agro Bacon" enterprise from the Minsk region, and bacteria of the Escherichia coli group were found in the pasteurized milk of the "Milkstrayt" company from Mogilev.
