The signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Trakya Development Agency in Tekirdağ, was attended by Mahmut Şahin, Secretary General of the Trakya Development Agency, and Mehmet Aykut, Chairman, and Gürol Bayrak, Vice Chairman, of the S.S. Önder Farmer Production and Marketing Cooperative Board of Directors. The project, applied for by the S.S. Önder Farmer Production and Marketing Cooperative, will be implemented by the Trakya Development Agency under the Social Development Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Financed 51 percent by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and with a total budget of 9 million 770 thousand Turkish Liras, the project aims to transform drought-resistant sorghum into high added value products such as gluten-free flour instead of low-income feed raw materials.
