Construction of an egg processing enterprise with a production capacity of 1 million eggs per day will begin in August 2025. This became known during a meeting between Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov and representatives of Thorniko, Ovodan Egg Group, and Shanyraq Group of Companies. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, the project initiator is Shanyraq Group of Companies in partnership with international companies.
As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized, this project has strategic importance for the country's food security and further development of the agro-industrial complex.
"Introducing deep egg processing technologies will help not only significantly reduce egg powder imports, stabilize seasonal price fluctuations, but also improve the biosafety of egg products used in the food and confectionery industries," said Aidarbek Saparov, and declared readiness to provide full government support within the framework of current legislation.
