Food production is projected to reach 103.0 billion rubles. This year, the expected volume of agricultural production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is 158.8 billion rubles. This information was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the region, Dmitry Voropaev, at an event celebrating Harvest Day, which was celebrated in the region from December 4–5. The sown area for agricultural crops this year in the region amounted to 1,415.3 thousand hectares. In particular, cereals and legumes occupied 786.2 thousand hectares, rapeseed – 316.6 thousand hectares, potatoes – 28.2 thousand hectares, and vegetables – 4.6 thousand hectares. A total of 2,629.4 million tons of cereals and legumes were harvested (in initially recorded weight) with an average yield of 33.7 centners/hectare – this is the highest figure in the Siberian Federal District.
