Due to documentation violations, a shipment of Chilean salmon did not reach its intended receiver in the Russian region of Pskov

The state inspector discovered that the State Veterinary Service of Latvia did not provide prior notification about the movement of a consignment from Chile to Kazakhstan. Additionally, the date of reloading of goods specified in a document from the Latvian Veterinary Service was incorrect and indicated a month earlier than the actual date. As a result, the import of Chilean salmon into the EAEU territory is prohibited and an act has been issued for the return of the cargo.
