Ukraine has experienced a nearly 20% increase in sunflower oil exports during the first ten months of the 2023/24 marketing year compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the 'Ukroliyaprom' Association. This growth is despite challenges such as fan power outages due to armed group actions and issues with logistics, technical regulation, and market preservation. The association is focusing on the development of the oil and fat industry, particularly in the processing of soybeans and rapeseeds. Additionally, Ukrainian apples have proven to outperform those from Poland, Moldova, and Serbia in quality during the export season.
