Despite the ongoing armed aggression by Russia, Ukraine managed to maintain its epizootic well-being in 2022, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the State Production and Consumer Service. The country conducted millions of vaccinations and tests for various diseases in domestic and farm animals, including Newcastle disease, brucellosis, rabies, leukemia, anthrax, classical swine fever, and tuberculosis. The number of African Swine Fever cases in Ukraine has been on a downward trend in recent years, with only 9 cases reported in 2022, and no bird flu was detected among poultry farms and wild birds. The State Production and Consumer Service continues to implement measures to further stabilize the epizootic situation in the country.
