The Government of Ukraine does not intend to impose restrictions on the export of wheat during the agricultural season 2025-2026, which began on July 1, and therefore there is no need to sign the annual memorandum on the issue with market participants, said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Taras Vysotsky, as cited by international news agencies. Vysotsky explained that the government's decision was made in the context of a bountiful harvest and reduced exports at the beginning of the current season. The latest estimates by Ukrainian experts indicate that the wheat harvest in the country this year will be around 23 million tons, with exports expected to reach 17 million tons.
