In Ukraine, work is actively underway on the breeding of two varieties of cotton: Dniprovskiy 5 and Pidozers'kyi 4.

Representatives of regional military administrations presented the first steps and plans for the restoration of cotton cultivation during a meeting. In Odesa region, 20 hectares are planned for cotton, with two enterprises already operating. There is a possibility of increasing the area to 100 hectares if a processor appears who is ready to accept the first industrial batch of raw materials.
