Brazil: Incidence of bed bugs grows 20% in the first half of 2023, points out Sindiveg

The incidence of bedbugs continues to be one of the main challenges for Brazilian farmers. In the first half of 2023, the occurrence of the insect grew 20% compared to the same period last year, requiring high performance in agricultural management. This is what the new report by Sindiveg (National Union of the Plant Defense Products Industry) indicates, organized based on field research carried out by Kynetec consultancy. The study also points out that the area treated with pesticides (PAT) advanced 13% in the first half of 2023 compared to the first half of 2022.
