There are 500 thousand tons of broken rice approved for shipment to Senegal, and an export volume of 200 thousand tons to Indonesia, 100 thousand tons to Mali and another 50 thousand tons to Gambia. On July 20, while the government banned the shipment of white rice to increase domestic supplies, exports were authorized to meet countries' food security needs.
