Last year, for 10 months in the Azov-Black Sea basin, industrial fishermen caught 14,432 tons (Black Sea - 8,982 tons, Sea of Azov - 5,450 tons), "the statement reads. It is noted that in total during January-October 2021 the volume of fish and other aquatic bioresources caught by enterprises of the fisheries industry of Ukraine amounted to 53,451 tons. In particular, industrial catch in fishery water bodies and on the continental shelf of Ukraine - 22,629 tons. Thus, 107 tons of fish and other aquatic bioresources were mined in the Black Sea estuaries (+ 116.3% compared to January-October 2020), 1,157 tons (+ 53.7%) in the Dnieper-Bug estuary system, and 504 tons in the Danube River.
