The National Institute of Agricultural Innovation (INIA), through the Directorate of Strategic Agricultural Services, announces the start of the virtual course "Integrated Management of Agricultural Pests," which will be held from October 9 to December 9, 2025. The training aims to strengthen the technical capabilities of producers, extension agents, and agricultural professionals in the sustainable management of pests, based on the principles of efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness. Inadequate management and excessive use of pesticides have generated resistance in pests, affecting productivity, the environment, and human health. In response, the course proposes a comprehensive approach that promotes modern and responsible practices, aligned with the international quality and safety standards demanded by global markets.
