Injection of Rp1.5 Trillion, ID Food Prepares Strategy to Absorb Sugar from Farmers
The absorption will focus on sugar from sugarcane farmers.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero)/ID Food has prepared a scheme to absorb sugarcane from farmers on a large scale. This follows an injection of funds in the form of a shareholder loan from PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero) or DAM amounting to Rp1.5 trillion. ID Food President Director Ghimoyo said, this step is an effort to save amidst the still-accumulated stock of sugarcane from farmers in the warehouses of several sugar factories. "With this capital support, ID Food can optimally absorb sugarcane from farmers. We ensure the minimum purchase price is at least according to the reference purchase price (HAP) set by the government so that farmers get market certainty, and profits with the sugarcane price at the farmer level maintained," said Ghimoyo in a statement in Jakarta, Friday (29/8/2025).
