Egypt: Integrated Industries is studying a proposal to establish two sugar and alcohol factories in Tanzania

The Sugar and Integrated Industries Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Supply, is studying an offer submitted by the Tanzanian government to help it establish two sugar and alcohol factories there, and to benefit from Egyptian expertise in this field. Major General Essam El-Din El-Badawi, Managing Director and CEO of the company, said in statements to Al-Mal, on the sidelines of an inspection tour of the Arment factory in Luxor, that “Integrated Industries” received a memorandum from the Tanzanian government explaining that the two sugar and alcohol factories are to be established within a huge agricultural and industrial complex. Al-Badawi added that an invitation had been sent to the government of Tanzania to organize an official delegation that includes specialists in this regard to visit Egypt, in the middle of this month.
