Between September 9 and 13, multiple countries reported outbreaks of African swine fever and avian influenza in domestic pigs, wild boars, and poultry. Ukraine, South Africa, Romania, Hungary, Germany, New Mexico, California, Bhutan, Spain, Nigeria, Denmark, Peru, and Germany reported outbreaks of these diseases. Additionally, Greece, Romania, UK, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria, Armenia, Kenya, Rwanda, Norway, Poland, Greece, France, Mozambique, and Austria reported outbreaks of other animal diseases such as PPR, bluetongue, West Nile fever, rabies, African horse sickness, Rift Valley fever, and epidemic hemorrhagic disease.
