The Earthworm Foundation and the International Pole and Line Foundation (IPNLF) have entered into a partnership to promote sustainable tuna fishing and improve working conditions in the seafood industry. The collaboration aims to engage the French market in implementing stronger management practices for tuna stocks and encouraging sustainable fishing. The partnership will also strengthen The Tuna Protection Alliance (TUPA) to advocate for better fishing practices and management. The memorandum of understanding between the two organizations outlines commitments to promoting sustainable tuna fishing, improving traceability and transparency, and sharing knowledge and resources.
