The Chamshir Dam in Iran was officially inaugurated by President Ebrahim Raeisi, becoming the country's fifth largest dam. With a reservoir capable of holding 2.3 billion cubic meters of water, the dam aims to contribute to the expansion of agriculture and manufacturing in the region by providing irrigation to 70,000 hectares of agricultural land. Despite economic pressure from American sanctions, Iran has continued to invest in key infrastructure projects to boost sectors like agriculture and manufacturing.
