From March 21 to October 22 of the current fiscal year, Iran's trade with its 15 neighboring countries reached 61 million tons valued at $28.32 billion, with Iraq being the largest export destination and the UAE the main importer. Non-oil trade with these countries accounted for about half of Iran's total non-oil trade, which increased by 16.5% in weight and 43% in value compared to the previous year, totaling 145.7 million tons worth $73 billion. Essential goods such as machinery, industrial parts, and raw materials were the main imports, with the UAE, Turkey, and Russia being the leading exporters to Iran.
