Conab points out that, between October 1 and 30, the precipitations were poorly distributed, with periods of drought interspersed with localized rains. The scenario delayed the start of the planting of soybeans and other first-crop cultivations in regions that are still waiting for the regularization of the rainy period. In the Midwest, the largest volumes were observed in Mato Grosso and the southwest of Mato Grosso do Sul, while Goiás and the northern part of Mato Grosso do Sul still face water restriction.
