Is it serious? That's how much a kilogram of strawberries costs now in Poland

In Poland, due to the relatively cool spring, the quantity from domestic foil cultivation has not yet increased significantly by the end of April, meaning that the supply from domestic goods remains scarce. In wholesale markets, average prices have decreased in recent days, but this is primarily due to the fact that the most expensive items have become somewhat cheaper, while the lowest prices have remained unchanged. Currently, the wholesale price of Polish strawberries ranges between 30-36 PLN/kg (2640-3170 Ft/kg), while a week earlier, in mid-April, it was still 32-36 PLN/kg (2820-3170 Ft/kg). The difference is small, yet the start of the open-field season is rapidly approaching, which will indeed expand the supply, but along with an increase in demand, it is expected to bring a temporary, short price increase before the larger quantities actually arrive on the markets.
