Israel has proposed the establishment of two centres of excellence in agriculture in Madhya Pradesh, India, to boost orange production in Chhindwara and vegetable production in Morena. This was announced during a meeting between the Consulate General of Israel, Kobbi Shoshani, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The discussion also encompassed cooperation in irrigation, industry, trade, and agriculture, with a focus on ongoing water projects in the Bundelkhand region and the potential for industrial investment promotion in Madhya Pradesh. A specialisation course in Israel is planned for officers from the state's agriculture and horticulture departments.
