The latest "Status of the Stocks" report from the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF) indicates that the sustainability of global tuna stocks has remained stagnant since the previous report in March. Approximately 85% of the world's commercial tuna catch comes from stocks at healthy levels of abundance, while 11% comes from overfished stocks and 4% from stocks at an intermediate level of abundance. There have been no significant changes in stock statuses since the last report, highlighting the importance of continuous scientific assessments for informed stock management decisions.
