In the midst of the bidding process for the Paraná River Waterway – now renamed as the "Main Navigation Route" –, this Thursday Iñaki Arreseygor, the top authority of the National Ports and Navigation Agency (ANPYN), convened in the city of Buenos Aires representatives of the provinces and the private sector users of the communication channel to exchange opinions on the management of the waterway once the dredging and beaconing service has been awarded. The governing body in question already has a name: Main Navigation Route Supervision Council.
