Ivory Coast, the world's largest cocoa producer, has seen a 30% increase in cocoa arrivals at its ports at the start of the new season, with around 455,000 metric tons arriving by November 10th, up from the same period last season. The ports of Abidjan and San Pedro received a combined total of 90,000 tons in one week, more than the previous season's 60,000 tons, signaling a positive start for the sector and potentially impacting the global cocoa market with regards to price and supply. The continuation of this trend and its factors will be closely monitored.
