REPUBLICA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Deputy for Food Availability and Stabilization of the National Food Agency, I Gusti Ketut Astawa, ensures that the prices of shallots and beef are still within the Government Reference Price (HAP) range. However, red chilies are still recorded above the reference limit. This assurance was given after an inspection at Kramat Jati Wholesale Market, Kramat Jati Market, and Minggu Market earlier this week. Monitoring results show that the price of shallots is in the range of Rp35,000 per kilogram. Beef was monitored at Rp130,000 to Rp140,000 per kilogram. Rice from the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (SPHP) is sold at Rp12,500 per kilogram according to the Maximum Retail Price (MRP). "In principle, what we need to ensure is that the supply is relatively good.
